Amigos de Platino LULAC NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND program is co-sponsored by Glenna G. Harris, MD $2000 some 70 LULAC Councils who raise scholarship funds at the grass roots Dr. Rolando & Emma Vela $1000 level which are matched nationally by sponsoring corporations. The Anonymous $1500 League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), has considered education its number one priority since it was established in 1929. As Amigos de Oro part of LULAC's education efforts, the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was established in 1975 to provide scholarships to $667.00 Hispanic students attending colleges and universities. Under the LNSF DATCU—Dale Kimble program, local LULAC Councils, in partnership with local and national Blas Daniel & Isabella Pina-Hinojosa, Ed.D. businesses, award scholarships to students in their communities. Collin County Teen Court is responsible for the Jocelyn Almarez Ryan High School administration of the county-wide program involving the handling and disposition of cases referred by the justices of Stephani Cadar Ryan High School the peace as well as other agencies. Teen Court is also responsible for the recruitment and training of teen Saul Diaz Denton High School volunteers for participation in the program. As an extension of the office, Teen Court coordinates a variety of events and Jessica Soberanes Denton High School programs specifically designed for young people giving them the opportunity to get involved and learn about county government.
