LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil Scholarship Benefactors rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating several hundred LULAC councils nationwide. Amigos de Pfatino $1000+ LULAC NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND program is co-sponsored by DATCU some 70 LULAC Councils who raise scholarship funds at the grass roots Glenna G. Harris, MD level which are matched nationally by sponsoring corporations. The Drs Horace & Euline Brock League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), has considered Willie & Bertha Iris L6pez education its number one priority since it was established in 1929. As Annette Mulkey part of LULAC's education efforts, the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was established in 1975 to provide scholarships to Hispanic students attending colleges and universities. Under the LNSF Amigos de Oro $667.00+ program, local LULAC Councils, in partnership with local and national Thomas & Mariela Cudd businesses, award scholarships to students in their communities. He later completed his Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of North Texas, Denton TABLE SPONSORS Texas. He worked as the director of the Hispanic Youth Mentorship Program of Lake Dallas COC from 2009 to 2011. He has served as president of several League of United Latin American Citizen Councils, Benefactor and most recently held the position as Deputy District Director for DATCU Texas LULAC District 111. He is most passionate about issues dealing with poverty, education and civic engagement. Mr. Manuel has been an advocate for those issues at the state and national legislative Tabfe Sponsors levels. Mr. Carlos Manuel is currently the founder and President of Denton Independent School District the Young Professionals Movement of LULAC.
