The League of United Latin Arrlazola American Citizens Denton Barillas ! Council #4366 awarded $5,000 in scholarships to the students. The awards ranged from $500 3 to $1.000. The ceremony, at the A Martin Luther King Center in- ^' 1 eluded a keynote address from 1 Dr. Lisa Garza, an assistant professor at Texas Woman's .- University.
