WHEREAS, Riley Webb is a native of Denton,Texas; and
WHEREAS, Riley Webb was crowned World Champion Tie Down Roper for the second
consecutive year on December 14,2024; and
WHEREAS, Riley Webb should be commended in his representation of the City of Denton
both locally and nationally; and
WHEREAS, Rikey Webb serves as an inspiration to local youth with career rodeo dreams; and
WHEREAS, Riley Webb is to be commended for an exciting,hard-fought, and successful year
and has become the youngest millionaire in the history of the sport of Rodeo.
NOW,THEREFORE, I, Gerard Hudspeth, Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, do hereby declare and
proclaim the 16th day of January 2025 as
"RILEY WEBB DAY"
in the City of Denton and ask that citizens of Denton join me in celebrating
Riley Webb's outstanding achievements.
