Denton.Over the past few years,Development Services Staff has noticed a significant increase in
accessory food establishments within the community.Likewise,several members of the City

permitting and operational requirements.Therefore,Staff has prepared a presentation on the
technical requirements of mobile food establishments to explain how these operations have been
occurring and to seek direction from the City Council regarding if and how mobile food
establishments are to be permitted to operate moving forward.

mental health clinicians continue to work with this group and are led by a civilian manager.
Positions related to outreach are currently being assessed and any proposed recommendations
will be discussed during the April 15 Work Session on homelessness.

the shelter to reduce full 9-1-1 truck the reporting party information. On certain call types only an ambulance crew may be dispatched
rolls. and not the full response including a fire engine crew.This call triaging allows the engine company
to remain in service and respond to concurrent calls if needed.Fire has recently reclassified a
firefighter to a new EMS Lieutenant.This new position,when trained,will make regular check ins at
the shelter to build relationships and work on diverting non emergent calls.

National Emergency Response Information System(NERIS)which will more accurately capture
data.
