Oreetingg:
WHEREAS, the School of Education at TWU plays a vital role in shaping the minds and futures
of education professionals; and
WHEREAS, Teacher Education Week is the time to recognize the dedication and commitment
of educators and the importance of teacher preparation programs;and
WHEREAS, we acknowledge the hard work and passion of School of Education faculty and
staff who train and mentor School of Education graduates.
NOW,THEREFORE, I,Gerard Hudspeth, Mayor of the City of Denton,Texas, do hereby declare and
proclaim the week of May 51 to May 91,2025,as
"TWU SCHOOL OF EDUCATION WEEK"
in the City of Denton and encourage all citizens to recognize and celebrate the
contributions of educators and support efforts to enhance education programs.
