AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE 91-082
THE SCHEDULE OF FEES AS IT RELATES TO EUTHANASIA AND FEES RELATED TO
THE HANDLING OF CREMATIONS OF ANIMALS, PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER,
PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1. That the schedule of fees and charges in Ordinance 91-082 are hereby
amended as to euthanasia and cremation handling services which are generally provided for in
Chapter 6, Code of Ordinances, City of Denton, are hereby established as follows

SECTION 2 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in force when the promslons of
this ordinance became effective which are inconsistent, or in conflict with the terms or
promslons contmned in tins ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict
SECTION 3. That If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or
word in tins ordinance, or application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid by
any court of competent junsdmtlon, such holding shall not affect the vahdlty of the remmnlng
portions of this ordinance, and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it
would have enacted such remtumng portions despite any such invalidity
SECTION 4 That the prowslons of th~s ordinance as they apply to Ordinance 91-982
shall govern and control over any conflicting prowslon of Ordinance 91-082, but all the other
provisions of Ordinance 91-082 not m conflict w~th such amendments, shall continue m force
and effect
SECTION 5. That th~s ordinance shall become effective, charged, and apphed to all
servmes occumng on and after September 21, 1999, and a copy of said fees and charges shall be
mmntmned on file m the office of the C~ty Secretary
