WHEREAS, the City of Denton, m accordance w~th the requirements of
TEX LOC GOV'T CODE ANN CHAPTER 272 001 (VERNON 1988), has offered the
sale of a eertmn tract of real property located on Sherman Drive and described as Well
Site No 5
WHEREAS, the C~ty Manager having recommended to the C~ty Council that the
smd sale of land be approved, and
WHEREAS, in accordance w~th Section 12 04 of the C~ty Chapter, the Cotmml
hereby finds that the property described above ~s not essential to continued effective
utility service, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I. That the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas accepts the
offer of Tnmty Presbyterian Church, providing for the sale of real property described m
the offer, a copy of wbaeh m attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and mcoxporated by reference
hereto
SECTION II The City Council hereby authorized the City Manager to execute
any and all comments necessary to consummate the sale of real property ~n accordance
w~th the offer
SECTION III That tbas ordinance shall become effective ~mmedlately upon its
passage and approval
