AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF FEES
CONTAiNED iN ORDiNANCE 98-268 BY ADOPTING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES AS
AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 34 AND CHAPTER 35 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FOR FILiNG APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW, APPROVAL,
GRANT OR ISSUANCE OF PLATS, PLANS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, VARIANCES OR
DESIGNATIONS REQUIRED BY THE SUBDIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS AND
ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDiNG A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE,
PROVIDiNG A SAVINGS CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That Ordinance 98-268 is hereby amended by the adoption of the Development
Review Fee Schedule set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes,
and authorized to be ~mposed for the filing of applications, review, approval, grant or ~ssuance of plats,
plans, permits, heenses, certificates, varaances or designations required by the Subd~vm~on Rules and
Regulations and Zomng Regulations set forth and authorized m Chapters 34 and 35 respectively of the
Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton
SECTION 2 That this ordinance shall repeal every prior ordinance in conflict herewith, but
only insofar as the portion of such prior ordinance shall be m conflict, and as to all other sections of the
ordinance not m direct conflict herewith, this ordanance shall be and is hereby made cumulative except
as to such prior ordinances or portions thereof as are expressly repealed hereby
SECTION 3 That ff any provmaon of this ordinance or application thereof to any person or
circumstance ~s held mvahd by any court, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remmmng
portions of this ordinance, and the C~ty Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares that ~t
would have enacted the remalnmg portions despite any such invalidity
SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall become effective, after its passage and approval, on
October 19, 1999, and the City Secretary m hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record Chronicle, a daily newspaper published in the City of Denton,
