1999-402AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMPETITIVE BIDS AND AWARDING AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE UNIFORMS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BID 2391 - POLICE UNIFORMS AWARDED
AS LISTED BELOW IN THE ESTIMATED EXPENDITURE AMOUNT OF APPROXIMATELY
$45,000)
WHEREAS, the Caty has soheated, reeeaved and tabulated eompetmve bads for the purchase of
necessary matermls, equapment, supphes or services an accordance w~th the procedures of STATE law and
Caty ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Manager or a desagnated employee has revaewed and recommended that the
herein described bads are the lowest responsable bads for the materials, eqmpment, supphes or services as
shown an the "Bad Proposals" submatted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Council has provaded m the City Budget for the appropnataon of funds to be
used for the purchase of the materials, equipment, supphes or sen, aces approved and accepted hereto, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That the numbered atems an the followang numbered bads for materials, equipment,
supphes, or serrates, shown an the "Bad Proposals" on file an the office of the Caty Purchasang Agent, are
hereby accepted and approved as being the lowest responsable bads for such atems

and for the speeafied sums contained an the Bad Invatataons, Bad Proposals, and related documents

submatted bads wash to enter into a formal written agreement as a result of the acceptance, approval, and
awardurg of the bads, the Caty Manager or has desagnated representatave as hereby authorized to execute the
written contract whach shall be attached hereto, provaded that the written contract as an accordance wath the
terms, cuncht~ons, specaficataons, standards, quantities and specafied sums contained an the Bad Proposal and
related documents hereto approved and accepted
