THE PURCHASE OF A 90 HORSEPOWER LOADER/BACKHOE TRACTOR, PROVIDING
FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE (BID # 2121 - LOADER/BACKHOE TRACTOR TO DALLAS FORD NEW HOLLAND
FOR $56,149 00)
WHEREAS, the Caty has solicited, received and tabulated compeUtlve Inds for the purchase
of necessary materials, eqmpment, supphas or services m accordance with the procedures of STATE
law and C~ty ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Manager or a designated employee has reviewed and recommended
that the horem described b~ds are the lowest responsible Inds for the materials, eqmpment, supphes
or services as shown m the "B~d Proposals" submitted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council has prowded m the C~ty Budget for the appropriation of funds
to be used for the purchase of the materials, eqmpment, supphes or serwees approved and accepted
hereto, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the numbered items m the following numbered Inds for matenals,
equipment, supphes, or services, shown m the "Bxd Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responsible Inds for such hems

and of the submitted bads wish to enter mto a formal written agreement as a result of the
acceptance, approval, and awarchng of the b~ds, the C~ty Manager or Ins designated representative
is hereby authorized to execute the written contract winch shall be attached hereto, provided that the
written contract ~s an accordance with the terms, eondit~ons, spemficatlons, standards, quantmes and
specified sums contmned m the Bid Proposal and related documents herein approved and accepted

submated bads, the Caty Council hereby authorizes the expendaure of funds therefor xn the mount
