ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND USE DESIGNATION FOR 0 2788 ACRES OF
LAND LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MAPLE STREET AND MYRTLE
STREET, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000 00 FOR
VIOLATIONS THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Mr Robert Hamblm, has apphed for a change m zomng for 0 2788 acres of land
from Commercial (C) zomng dlsmct classfficataon and use demgnataon to MulU-Famdy One (MF-1)
zomng dlsmCt classification and use designation, and
WHEREAS, on March 11, 1998, the Planmng and Zomng Commission recommended
approval of the requested change m zomng, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council finds that the change ~n zoning wall be an compliance with the
Denton Development Plan, NOW, THEREFORE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
Section I That the zomng d~smct classification and use designation of the 0 2788 acre tract
of land located in the William Loving Survey descnbed m the legal description attached hereto and
ancorporated here~n as Exlub~t A, is changed from Commermal (C) zomng (hsmct classfficatlon and
use designation to Multt-Fanuly One (MF-1) zomg (hstnct classification and use desagnat~on, under
the comprehensive zomng ordinance of the Caty of Denton, Texas
Sectaon II That the City's official zoning map ~s amended to show the change ~n zoning
d~stnct classification
Section III That any person violating any pmvas~on of thru orrhnance shall, upon conviction,
be fined a sum not exceechng $2,000 00 Each day that a provision oftlus ordtnance is vtolated shall
constitute a separate and dastmct offense
Section IV That this ordmance shall become effective fourteen (14) days from the date of
ats passage, and the City Secretary ~s hereby directed to cause the caption of th~s ordinance to be
pubhshed twice m the Denton Racord-Chromcle, a dmly newspaper pubhshed m the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, wttlun ten (10) days of the date of its passage
