FILED IN THE PROBATE COURT OF DENTON COUNTY, AUTHORIZING AND,
RATIFYING THE MAYORS' EXECUTION OF THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT DATED
JUNE 4, 1998, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
ACT ON THE CITY'S BEHALF IN EXECUTING ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AND TO
TAKE OTHER ACTIONS NECESSARY TO FINALIZE THE SETTLEMENT AND
RELEASE OF CLAIMS, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

Denton, Texas, et al, Cause No GC-98-00098-C m the Probate Court of Denton County ~s
hereby approved and the Mayors execution of smd agreement is hereby anthonzed, ratified and
approved The C~ty Manager and/or the C~ty Attorney are hereby authorized to execute orders
releasmg and thsm~sslng all clmms and all other documents ~n a form approved by the C~ty
Attorney and to take all other actmns necessary to final,ze the Settlement Agreement
~ That thru ordinance shall become effective ~mmedmtely upon ~ts passage
and approval
