ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF WOOD STIIF. F.T ON SCHOOL DAYS, PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED DOLLAKS, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

Street
The west stde of Wood Street fi.om tts tntersectton with Davis Street noah for two
hundred smty five feet (265 feet)
The east stde of Wood Street fi.om 1ts intersection with Davis Street noah for fifty feet (50
feet)
_~ That ff any se~on, subsectton, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in
tl~s ordinance, or apphcatlon thereof to any person or circumstance ~s held invalid by any court of
competent junsdtctaon, such holding shall not affect the vahdtty of the remaining pomons of thts
ordmance, and the Ctty Council of the Ctty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it would have enacted
such rematmng pomons desptte any such mvahdtty
~ Any person who shall violate a provision of th~s ordinance, shall be guilty of a
rmsdemeanor pumshable by a fine not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200 00)
~ That th~s ordinance shall become effemve fourteen (14) days from the date of
passage, and the Ctty Secretary ts hereby d~rected to cause the captton of flus ordtnance to be pubhshed
twice tn the Denton Record-Chromcle, the official newspaper of the Ctty of Denton, Texas, within ten
(10) days of the date of~ts passage
