AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 92-
109 TO PROVIDE FOR A CHANGE IN THE DETAILED PLAN FOR A PORTION OF A 12 2077
ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING IN THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD) NO 6 ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND USE DESIGNATION, ALSO KNOWN AS SAN JACINTO
PLAZA AND BEING DESCRIBED AS LOTS 2A AND 6A, BLOCK A, TOWNSHIP II, PHASE
II, CITY OF DENTON, DENTON COUNTY, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN THE
MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000 FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, JKW Architects, on behalf' of Santander San Jamnto, has apphed for an
amendment to a port,on of the detailed plan set forth m Ordinance 92-109 for a 12 2077 acre tract
of land m the planned development (PD) No 6 zomng chstnct clasmficat~on and use demgnat~on, and
WHEREAS, the amendment apphes to a 2 602 acre tract known as Lot 6A, Block A, of the
Townsbap II, Phase II Addition and a 3 568 acre tract known as Lot 2A, Block A, of the Townslup
II, Phase II Addition,
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1998, the Planmng and Zomng Commmmon, aRer a pubhc hearing,
recommended approval of'the requested changes, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council finds that the proposed detmled plan will be m comphance
w~th the Denton Development Plan and Denton Plan Pohc~es, NOW THEREFORE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That Ordinance No 92-109, prowd~ng approval of a planned development
d~stnct for 12 2077 acres of land as described thereto, m hereby amended by approval of a revised
detmled plan on a 2 602 acre tract, as shown on the detmled plan attached hereto as Extub~t "B" and
referred to as Lot 6A, Block A, of the Township II, Phase II, Addition and approval of a rewsed
detailed plan on a 3 568 acre tract located w~thm the planned development d~stnct No 6, as shown
on the detailed plans attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and referred to as Lot 2A, Block A, of the
Township II, Phase II, Addition
SECTION II That the prowmons ofttus ordinance as they apply to the 5 63 acres shown m
the detmled plans hereto approved, shall govern and control over any conflicting prowmon of
Ordinance No 92-109, but all the prowmons of Ordinance No 92-109 as they apply to that
remaining port~on of the dmtnct not hereto amended, shall continue ~n force and effect and shall
apply to the remmnder of the dmtmct
SECTION III That a copy of,thru ordinance shall be attached to Ordinance Nos 92-109,
showing the amendment herren approved

SECTION IV That any person violating any prowslon of th~s ordinance shall, upon
convlctmn, be fined a sum not exceeding $2,000 00 Each day that a prowslon ofth~s ordinance ,s
v~olated shall constttute a separate and distract offense
SECTION V That th~s ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14) days from the date
or,ts passage, and the City Secretary Is hereby dtr~cted to cause the capUon ofth~s ordinanc~ to be
pubhshed tvac~ m the Denton Record Chromcle, the offlcmt newspaper of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
vathm ten (10) days of the date of Its passage
