AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMPETITIVE BIDS AND AWARDING AN ANNUAL
CONTRACT FOR WATER TREATMENT SERVICE AND CHEMICALS FOR THE ELECTRIC
PRODUCTION PLANT, PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFORE,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BID # 2239 - WATER TREATMENT SERVICE
AND CHEMICALS AWARDED TO BUCKMAN LABORATORIES IN THE ESTiMATED
ANNUAL AMOUNT OF APPROXIMATELY $50,000 00)
W~EREAS, received and tabulated b~ds for the purchase
the
City
has
solicited,
competitive
of necessary materials, eqmpment, supplies or services ~n accordance w~th the procedures of STATE
law and City ord,nances, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a demgnated employee has reviewed and recommended
that the he~:eln descnbed bids are the lowest responmble bids for the materials, eqmpment, supplies
or serwce~ as shown m the "B~d Proposals" submitted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council has provided m the City Budget for the appropnat~on of funds
to be used!for the purchase of the matenals, eqmpment, supplies or serwces approved and accepted
herem, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
S~CTION I That the numbered items m the following numbered bids for materials,
eqmpmen~, supphes, or servmes, shown m the "B~d Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responmble b~ds for such ~tems
