THE LOW BIDDER FOR SUCH EQUIPMENT UNDER THE BIDDING PROCESS
ADMINISTERED BY THE TEXAS GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION, PROVIDING FOR
AN INCREASE IN THE ANNUAL LEASE PAYMENT AMOUNT, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE (LEASE # 2045 TO IBM CORPORATION CHANGE ORDER # 2 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,469 00 OR $6,823 00 ANNUALLY)
WHEREAS, on 4-15-97, the C~ty awarded a contract for LEASE # 2045 - LONG RANGE
TECHNOLOGY PLAN in the amount of $896,796 00, and Change Order # 1 on April 7, 1998 m
the amount of $205,267 26, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Manager hawng recommended to the Council that Change Order # 2
be authorized to amend such lease agreement vath respect to the scope and pnce and smd change
order being ~n comphance w~th the reqmrements of Chapter 252 of the Local Government Code by
reason of the eqmpment being leased hawng been b~d by the Texas General Services Conumsmon,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I. That the change order increasing the amount of the lease agreement between
the C~ty and IBM Corporation copy of whmh ~s attached hereto, ~n the amount of TWENTY
THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY NINE and no/100 Dollars ($20,469 00), m hereby
approved and the expendxture of funds therefor m hereby authorized per a subcontract between
NTCS, Ine and IBM
SECTION II. That tins ordinance shall become effecUve ~mme, thately upon tts passage and
approval
