CONTRACT FOR ACQUISITION, LICENSURE AND MAINTENANCE OF COMPUTER,
SOFTWARE AND SUPPORTING INFORMATION OF THE CUSTOMER INFORMATION
SYSTEM (CIS) BETWEEN THE CITY OF DENTON AND HARRIS COMPUTER
CORPORATION, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE CONTRACT AMOUNT, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (RFSP # 2102 CIS SOFTWARE AWARDED TO
HARRIS COMPUTER CORPORATION-CHANGE ORDER # 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$127,194 00)
WHEREAS, on 4-21-98, the City awarded a contract for RFSP # 2102 - CUSTOMER
INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIS) in the amount of $300,150 00, and
WHEREAS, the mty manager hawng recommended to the Council that a change order be
authorized to amend such agreement w~th respect to the scope and price and smd change order
being in comphance w~th the reqmrements of Chapter 252 022 of the Local Government Code
exempting thru sole source acqms~t~on from the competmve b~d process, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I. That the change order # 1 increasing the amount of the purchase
agreement between the City and HARRIS COMPUTER CORPORATION copy of whmh is
attached hereto, m the amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND ONE
HUNDRED NINETY FOUR and no/100 Dollars ($127,194 00), ~s hereby approved and the
expenditure of funds therefor is hereby authorized The contract amount ~s amended to read
$427,344 00
SECTION II. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval
