PURCHASE OF A TRENCHER AND TRAILER, PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BID 2302 - TRENCHER AND TRAILERS
AWARDED TO WITCH EQUIPMENT CO, INC FOR $38,118 67)
WHEREAS, the Caty has sohclted, received and tabulated eompetatave bids for the purchase
of necessary materials, eqmpment, supphes or servaces m accordance with the procedures of STATE
law and Caty ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Manager or a desagnated employee has revaewed and recommended
that the hereto described bads are the lowest responsable bads for the materials, eqmpment, supphes
or servaces as shown m the "Bid Proposals" submatted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the Clty Council has provided m the Caty Budget for the appmpnataon of funds
to be used for the purchase of the materials, eqmpment, supplies or services approved and accepted
hereto, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

equipment, supphes, or servmes, shown m the "Bad Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responsable bads for such ttems

and of the subnutted bxds w~sh to enter into a formal written agreement as a result of the acceptance,
approval, and awarding of the bads, the Caty Manager or has desagnated representatave as hereby
authorized to execute the written contract wluch shall be attached hereto, prowded that the written
contract as m accordance wath the terms, condataons, specxficataons, standards, quantitaes and
specffied sums contmned m the Bad Proposal and related documents herean approved and accepted
