1997-001Z-96-050 ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE FROM THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT NUMBER 2 (PD-2) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIfiCATION AND USE DESIGNATION TO THE SINGLE FAMILY 7 (SF-7) ZONING !DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND USE DESIGNATION FOR 15.831 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED DIRECTLY EAST OF BELL AVENUE AT CORONADO DRIVE, IEXTENDING NORTH PAST CORDOVA DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 FOR VIOLATIONS THEREO~; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Denton, Texas initiated a change in zoning for 15.831 acres of land from the Planned Development Numberl2 (PD-2) zoning district classlflcatmon and use designation to the Single Family 7 (SF-7) zonmng dmstrmct classm~ioation and use deslgnatmon, and WHEREAS, on December 11, 1996, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the requested change in zoning, and WHEREAS, the City Councml fmnds that thms change mn zonmng district will be in compliance with the Denton Development Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I. That the zoning district classlflcatmon and use designation of the 15.831 acres descrmbed mn Exhmbmt A, attached heretoland incorporated herein by reference, is hereby changed from the Planned Development Number 2 zoning dmstrlct classification and use deslgnatmon to the Smngle Fammly 7 (SF-7) zonlngldlstrict classification and use desmgnatlon under the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas. SECTION II. That the City's offlcmal zoning map ms amended to shoW the change in zoning dmstrlct classlflcatmon. S~CTION III. That any person violating any provision of this o~dinanoe shall, upon conviction, be fined a sum not exceeding $2,000.00. Each day that a provision of this ordinance is violated shall constitute a separate and dmstmnct offense SECTION IV.
