1997-197AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 34-115
"DRIVEWAYS AND PARKING LOTS" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS TO AMEND THE MINIMUM CORNER CLEARANCE REQUIRE-
MENTS, PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That subsection (g)(2) of Section 34-115 "Driveways and Parking Lots" of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows
See. 34-115. Driveways and Parkang Lots.
(g) Comer clearance standards
(2) The minimum comer clearance reqmremems are as follows

S~ECTION II That if any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or
word mttus ordinance, or application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid by
any court of competent juns&etlon, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remmmng
portions of this orchnance, and the City Cotmefl of the City of Denton, Texas hereby declares It
would have enacted such remmmng portions despite any such validity
SECTION III That save and except as amended hereby, all the provisions, sections, sub-
sectlons,,paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of Chapter 34 of the Code of Ordinances
shill remain in full force and effect
SECTION IV That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval
