WHEREAS, the City has solicited, rec~vcd and tabulated compet~Uve bids for the purchase
of necessary materials, eqinpment, supphes or services in accordance w~th the procedures of STATE
law and City ordmancas, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has rewewed and recommended
that the hereto dascnbed bids are the lowest responsible bids for the matenals, eqmpment, supplies
or services as shown in the "Bid Proposals" subn~tted therefore, and
WI-IEREAS, the City Council has provided in the City Budget for the appropriation of funds
to be used for the purchase of the materials, eqimpinent, supphes or sennces approved and accepted
herein, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the numbored items in the follovang numbered bids for inatenals,
eqmpinent, supplies, or services, shown in the "Bid Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responsible bids for such items

speclficatlons, standards, quantihes and for the specified sums contained in the Bid Invitations, Bid
Proposals, and related documents
~ That should the City an~d persons subnnttmg approved and accepted items
and of the submitted bids w~sh to enter into~a formal wntten agreement as a result of the
acceptance, approval, and awarding of the bids, the City Manager or Ins designated representative
is hereby authorized to execute the written contract wInch shall be attached hereto, provided that the
wntten contract is ut accordance wtth the terms, condmons, specifications, standards, quantmes and
specified sums contmned in the Bid Proposal and related documents herein approved and accepted
SECTION IV That by the acceptance and approval of the above numbered items of the
submitted b~ds, the City CollnCll hereby authonzas the expenditure of funds therefor ,n the amount
and in accordance w~th the approved b~ds or pursuant to a written contract made pursuant thereto as
authorized hereto
