FROM THE AGRICULTURAL (A) (WITH SUP 180) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFI-
CATION AND USE DESIGNATION TO THE OFFICE CONDITIONED (O(C)) ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND USE DESIGNATION FOR 8 3271 ACRES OF
LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT l, BLOCK l, OF THE YMCA ADDITION, LOCATED ON
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF RINEY ROAD AND WINDSOR DRIVE, PROVIDING
FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000 00 FOR VIOLATIONS
THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Denton Independent School Dastrzct anatmated a
change mn zonmng, for 8 3271 acres of land descrabed as Lot 1,
Block 1, of the YMCA Addmtmon from the Agrmcultural (A) (wmth SUP
180) zonmng dmstrmct classlfmcataon and use desmgnatmon to the
Offace Condltmoned (O(c)) zonmng dastract classafmcatmon and use
desmgnatmon, and
WHEREAS, on November 8, 1995, the Plannang and Zonmng Commls-
smon recommended approval of the requested change mn zonmng, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Councml fands that the change mn zonmng wall
be mn complmance wath the Denton Development Plan, NOW, THEREFORE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That the zonang dastrmct classafacataon and use
desmgnatmon of the 8 3271 acres of land descrmbed as Lot l, Block
1, of the YMCA Add,tmon, ms changed from the Agracultural (A) (wmth
SUP 180) zonmng dmstrlct classafzcatmon and use desmgnatmon to the
Offmce Condmtmoned (O(c)) zonmng dastrmct classafacataon and use
desmgnatmon under the comprehensmve zonang ordanance of the Cmty of
Denton, Texas, subDect to the followmng condmtaons
1 The uses descrabed an Exhmbmt 1, attached hereto and
ancorporated by reference herein, are prohmbmted
2 The total amount of square footage for all bumld~ngs on
the 8 3271 acres not exceed ten thousand (10,000) square
feet
SECTION II That the Caty's offaclal zoning map ms amended to
show the change in zonmng distract classaflcataon
SECTION III That any person vaolatmng any provlsmon of thms
ordznance shall, upon convmctzon, be fined a sum not exceeding
$2,000 00 Each day that a provas~on of this ordmnance ms vaolated
shall constitute a separate and dastlnct offense
SECTION IV That this ordanance shall become effective four-
teen (14) days from the date of mts passage, and the Cmty Secretary
as hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordanance to be
published twzce in the Denton Record-Chronzcle, a dazly newspaper
published in the City of Denton, Texas, within ten (10) days of the
date of its passage ~
