AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER THREE TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF DENTON AND HDR ENGINEERING, INC FOR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COL~NCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That the Mayor is hereby authormzed to execute
Amendment No 3 to the Agreement for Professional Engineering
Servmces between the City of Denton, Texas and HDR Engineering,
Inc , attached hereto and mncorporated herein as mf set forth at
length
SECTION II. That the expendmture of funds mn an amount not to
exceed slx hundred sixty-three thousand, five hundred and forty-
fmve dollaras ($663,545 00) ms hereby authormzed as speclfmed by
the amended Agreement
SECTION III That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and approval

AMENDMENT NO 3 TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS AND HDR ENGINEERING, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES DATED JUNE 15, 1993
WHEREAS, on June 15, 1993, the City of Denton ("City") and HDR Engineering,
Ine ("HDR") entered into an Agreement Between the City of Denton, Texas and HDR
Engineering, Ine for Professional Engineering Serwces for the samtary landfill initial site
development, which was amended by Amendment No 1 and Amendment No 2, (the
Agreement between the C~ty of Denton, Texas and HDR Engineering, Ine for Professional
Engineering Services as amended by Amendment No 1 and Amendment No 2 are herein
referred to as "Agreement"), and
WHEREAS, C~ty and HDR. desire to add additional serwces to the Scope of Services
for Phase III for addmonal fees not to exceed $23,200 00, and
WHEREAS, City and HDR destre to add 12 months of project management for
additional fees not to exceed $12,000 00, NOW, THEREFORE,
WITNESSETH
Pursuant to Section 7 12 (Changes and Modification) of the Agreemem, City and HDR hereby
agree

3 9 Redesign of final landfill configuration to include an area origmally determined
to be a wetland - $4,500 00
3 10 Modeling of dr~unage from mobile home park to determine impact on flood
plam - $4,000 00
3 11 Preparation of reformation and mapping for annexation and zomng of landfill
site - $1,700 00
3 12 PUB Workshop development sequence - $ -0-
3 13 Revise landfill footprint to accommodate the landscaping plan - $5,000 00
3 14 Revise FEMA flood plato map - $8,000 00
