AN ORDINANCEADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1, 1996, AND ENDING ON SEPTEM-
BER 30, 1997, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, notice of a publmc hearmng on the budget for the C~ty
of Denton, Texas, for the fmscal year 1996-97 was heretofore pub-
lashed at least fmfteen (15) days mn advance of samd publmc hear-
lng, and
WHEREAS, a publmc hearmng on the samd budget was duly held on
August 27, 1996, and all mnterested persons were gmven an opportu-
nmty to be heard for or agamnst any mtem thereof, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the budget for the Cmty of Denton, Texas for
the fmscal year begmnnmng on October 1, 1996, and endmng on
September 30, 1997 prepared by the Cmty Manager and fmled wmth the
Cmty Secretary, as amended by the Cmty Councml, is hereby approved
and adopted, a copy of whmch budget Ks attached hereto and
mncorporated by reference heremn
