AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 34-115
(C)(4) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR THE CITIZEN'S TRAF-
FIC SAFETY SUPPORT COMMISSION TO HAVE FINAL AUTHORITY OVER APPEALS
AND VARIANCES INVOLVING PARKING LOT/DRIVEWAY PERMITS, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That section 34-115 (c) (4) of the Code of Ordi-
nances is amended to read as follows
(4) Refusal of permits; appeals and variances An
applicant may appeal any denial, condition, or
limitation of a permit to the Development Review
Committee If the Committee upholds the refusal,
condition or limitation, the applicant may appeal
to the Citizen's Traffic Safety Support Commission
(CTSSC), which shall make a final determination
An applicant may seek a variance from any re-
quirement of section 34-115 from the CTSSC, which
shall grant or deny the variance in accordance
with the criteria of section 34-7 (a) The CTSSC
may also impose conditions as provided for in
section 34-7 (b)
SECTION II That this ordinance shall become effective im-
mediately upon its passage and approval
