ORDINANCE NO /!q
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROHIBITING U TURNS ON
LILLIAN MILLER PARKWAY AT THE FIRST MEDIAN OPENING SOUTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 35E SOUTHBOUND SERVICE ROAD, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN
THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $200 00 FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That when signs are erected giving notice thereof,
no person shall make a U Turn at any time on Lillian Miller Parkway
at the first median opening south of the Interstate 35E southbound
service road
SECTION II That any person adjudged guilty of violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
punished by a fine not exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200 00)
SECTION III That this ordinance shall become effective four-
teen (14) days from the date of its passage, and the City Secretary
is hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle, the official news-
paper of the City of Denton, Texas, within ten (10) days of the
date of its passage
