AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE V
"SWIMMING POOLS" OF CHAPTER 5 "BUILDINGS" BY AMENDING SECTION 5-179
"PERMITS TO OPERATE" TO PROVIDE FOR A NEW SECTION 5-179 (c) ;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Article V of Chapter 5 of the Code of
ordinances is hereby amended by adding a new Section 5-179 (c) ,
which said section shall hereafter be and read as follows:
See. 5-179. Permits to operate.
(c) An annual fee is hereby established for the
inspection of swimming pools in the amount of
$160.00.
SECTION II. That if any provision of this ordinance or
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid
by any court, such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and the City Council of the
City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares that it would have enacted
such remaining portions despite any such invalidity.
SECTION III. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and approval. PASSED AND APPROVED this the day of 1990.
