1987-1982061L NO AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE OF 0 051 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, RESERVING AN EASEMENT THEREIN FOR STREETS AND UTILITIES, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TRANSFERRING TITLE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Denton is the owner of real property as described herein, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined ,t would be in the best interest of the City to d,spose of the property, reserving an easement therein for streets and utilities, and WHEREAS, the City Council ~n accordance with the provisions of Article 5421c-12 V T C S , has determined that the property is of a s~ze as to be ~ncapable of being used ~ndependently as zoned, and may be sold to the abutting property owners, and WHEREAS, in accordance with state law, the City Council has offered to sale the property to the abutting owners ~n an amount for not less than ~ts fair market value, and WHEREAS, the abutting property owners have accepted the C~ty's offer to purchase the property for the amount stated heretn, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I That the 0 021 acres of land described ~n Exhibit "A" attached "hereto and Incorporated herein by reference, shall be sold to the abutting property owner ~n consideration of the sum of Slx Thousand Eight Hundred F~fty-four Dollars and Flfty- e~ght Cents ($6,854 58), reserving and excepting therein to the C~ty of Denton an easement over, under, and across the property described for street and utility purposes SECTION II That upon receipt by the City of the amount stated above, the Mayor is authorized to execute a general warranty deed conveying title to the described property to the grantee, save and except an easement as provided
