AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBER OF PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO
BE EMPLOYED IN EACH CLASSIFIED POSITION IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
FOR THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That, until otherwise determined by the City
Council, the following number of persons shall be authorized to
be employed in each classl£~ed position ~n the Police Department
1 CHIEF OF POLICE
DIVISION COMMANDERS

LIEUTENANTS
10
SERGEANTS
68
POLICE OFFICERS
SECTION II That all ordinances and resolutions in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict
SECTION III That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon ItS passage and a~al ~
