TO MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
SUBJECT:
Election of Denton Central Appraisal District (DCAD) Board of Directors
BACKGROUND:
On December 5, 2017, the City Council allocated the City’s 191 votes to George Pryor for the
DCAD Board of Directors. On December 20, 2017, the City received the attached memorandum
from DCAD listing the candidates nominated and the outcome of the election in ballot order. As
shown on the attached memorandum, Roy Atwood, Mike Hassett, George Pryor, Charles
Stafford, and David Terre were elected to the DCAD Board of Directors.
The purpose of this informal staff report is to notify you of the election results so that you can be
familiar with the new DCAD Board of Directors.
