AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROHIBITING U TURNS
ON U S HIGHWAY 380 (UNIVERSITY DRIVE) AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
HINKLE DRIVE, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF
$200 00 FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person
shall make a U Turn at any time on U S Highway 380 (University
Drive) at its intersection with Hinkle Drive
SECTION II
Any person adjudged guilty of violating the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by
a fine not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200 00)
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of its passage, and the City Secretary is
hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle, the official
newspaper of the City of Denton, Texas, within ten (10) days of
the date of its passage
