AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING 805 BOLIVAR STREET IN THE CITY OF
DENTON, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER
ARTICLE 28A OF THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE, PROVIDING
FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $1,000 00 FOR VIOLATIONS
THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Historic Landmark Commission and the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Denton have recommended
that the property herein described be designated as a historic
landmark in the City of Denton, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the property located at 805 Bolivar, being more
particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, is hereby designated as a
historic landmark under Article 28A of the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That said property herein described shall be indicated upon
the zoning map of the City of Denton as a historic landmark by
the letter "H", and the property herein described shall be
subject to all of the terms, provisions and requirements of
Article 28A of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Denton, Texas and such designatation shall be in addition to
any other use designation established in the City's zoning
ordinance applicable to such property
SECTION III
Any person who shall violate a provision of this ordinance,
or fails to comply therewith or with any of the requirements
thereof, or of a permit or certificate issued thereunder, shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding
One Thousand Dollars ($1,000 00) Each such person shall be
deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or
portion thereof during which any violation of this ordinance is
committed, or continued, and upon conviction of any such
violations such person shall be punished within the limits
above
SECTION IV
That this ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of its passage, and the City Secretary is
hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle, the official
newspaper of the City of Denton, Texas, within ten (10) days of
the date of its passage

All those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land situated in the
City of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lots 4 and S and the
south 13 7 feet of Lot 3, in Block 4, Bacon Addition, an addition
to the City of Denton, Texas, as shown by the Revised Plat of said
Addition of record in Volume 1, page 6-1/2, Plat Records, Denton
County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Block No 4,
fHENCE North 153-7/10 feet with the East line of said
Block for corner in same,
fHENCE West 180 feet for corner,
THENCE South 153-7/10 feet for corner in the South line
of said Block No 4,
THENCE East 180 feet with said South line to the place
of beginning
