AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE NUMBER OF PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO BE
EMPLOYED IN THE CLASSIFIED POSITION OF SERGEANT IN THE DENTON
POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FROM SIX TO
EIGHT, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the number of persons authorized to be employed in the
classified position of Sergeant in the Denton Police Department
is hereby increased from six to a total of eight persons
SECTION II
That all ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and approval
