AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO BY THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. On the - /9 -A day of , 1986, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building of the City of Denton, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. On the /lo- day of , 1986, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. - Z&" in the City Council Cham rs o the Municipal Building of the City of Denton, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearings to be published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the territory described in Exhibit "A" not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes).
