AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS
ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO BY THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH
PUBLIC HEARINGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I L
On the Co. day of 1986, at 7 00 o'clock P M
in the City Council Chambers o e Municipal Building of the
City of Denton, Texas, the Ci Council will hold a public
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be
heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein
On the day of~ 1986, at 7 00 o'clock P M
in the City Council Chambers o the Municipal Building of the
City of Denton, Texas, the City Council will hold a public
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be
heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein
SECTION II
The Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby authorized
and directed to cause notice of such public hearings to be
published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the
City and in the territory described in Exhibit "A" not more than
twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such
public hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation
Act (Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes)
SECTION III
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
following its passage and approval

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
County of Denton, State of Texas, being part of the D Culp survey, Abstract
287, J Coltart survey, Abstract 288 and the T Living survey, Abstract 729
and more particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at a point in the present city limits as established by Ordinance
No. 82-6, said point lying in the South boundary line of said Coltart survey,
same being the North boundary line of the said Culp survey;
THENCE North 690 07' 05' East a distance of 822 05 feet to a point for a
corner;
THENCE North 00 17' 280 West, a distance of 1139 39 feet to a point for a
corner;
THENCE North 890 22' 150 East, a distance of 766 28 feet to a point for a
corner;
THENCE South, a distance of 208.71 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE North 890 22' 15• East, a distance of 417 4 feet to a point for a
corner in the East boundary line of said Coltart survey, same being the West
boundary line of Said Living survey, said point also lying in a North and
South road known as Barris road;
THENCE South, along said survey lines and in said road a distance of 784 28
feet to appoint for a corner, said point being the intersection of said Parris
road with an East and West road known as Kings Rowi

The City of Denton, Texas, proposes to institute annexation
proceedings to alter the boundary limits of said City to add the
territory described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein, to the corporate limits of the
City of Denton
A Public Hearing will be held by and before the C ty Council
