AN ORDINANCE REPEALING PARAGRAPH B OF ARTICLE 21 OF APPENDIX
B-ZONING OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON
RELATING TO THE APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLATS OF
SUBDIVISIONS WITHIN AN AREA WHERE ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS ARE
PENDING, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That paragraph B of Article 21 of Appendix B-Zoning of the
Code of Ordinances which reads as follows
The planning and zoning commission of the City of
Denton shall not approve any plat of any subdivision
within any area where a petition or ordinance for
annexation or a recommendation for annexation to the
City of Denton is pending before the city council,
unless and until such plat shall have been approved
by resolution by the city council
is hereby repealed
SECTION II
That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and approval
