AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, ENACTING A NEW ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHING OF RATES, CHARGES,
FEES, DEPOSITS, BILLINGS AND PROCEDURES FOR PROVIDING ELECTRICAL
SERVICE BY ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Article II of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby repealed in its entirety
SECTION II
That a new Article II of Chapter 25
Ordinances is hereby enacted which shall read as
ARTICLE II ELECTRIC SERVICE
Sec 25-21 The rates, charges, fees,
billings and procedures for providing
service by the City to its customers

adopted, and as from time-to-time amended, by the
City Council, the ordinances and amendments thereto

SECTION III
That this ordinance shall become effective when the ordinance
adopted pursuant to Section II, above, becomes effective, a copy
of which shall be attached hereto
