1983-146AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15-3 1 OF CHAPTER 15 O~ THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, INCREASING USER FEES FOR
CERTAIN PARK AND RECREATION FACILITIES, PROVIDING FOR A SEVER-
ABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DA£E
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Section 15-3 1 of Chapter 15 "Parks and Recreation"
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, £exas is hereby
amended to read as follows
"Section 15-3 1 Facility Fees
The followlng fees shall be charged and collected for the use
of the clty's parks and recreational facilities in accordance
with the schedule set forth herein Additional fees for facility
supervlslon or police services may be charged in adOlt~on to
these fees
A SWIMMING POOL
1 Season Pass $25 00 per person or $60 00 per family
2 General Admission $1 00 per adult, $0 75 per child
$1 00 per senior cltlzen (60 years of age
or older & spouse)
3 Pool Rental
(a) Non-Profit $10 00 per hour (5 hours or more per week)
$15 00 per hour (3-4 hours per week)
$20 00 per hour (1-2 hours per week)
(b) Private $15 00 per hour (5 hours or more per week)
$20 00 per hour (3-4 hours per week)
$25 00 per hour (1-2 hours per week)
(c) Professional $20 00 per hour (5 hours or more per week)

SECTION II
That ~f any sectlon, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word ~n thls ordlnance, or application thereof to any
person or c~rcumstances is held lnval~d by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the valld~ty of the
remaining portions of th~s ordlnance, and the City Council of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares ~t woula have enacted such
remaining portlons despite any such ~nvalldlty
