HICKORY STREET IN THE CITY OF DENTON, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS AS A
HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER ORDINANCE NO 80-30 (ARTICLE 28A OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE), AND PROVIDING AN 5FFECTIVE DATB
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The below described property shall be classified as historical
zoning
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land s~tuated in the City
and County of Denton, State of Texas, being part of Block No
Twenty-One (21) of the original Town of Denton, and being more
particularly described as follows
BEGINNING at a point In the north boundary line of sa~d Block No
21, 363 1 feet east of the northwest corner thereof,
THENCE east w~th the north boundary line of sa~d Block No 21,
217 9 feet to the northeast corner thereof,
THENC5 south with the east boundary line o~ said Block 300 ieet
for its southeast corner,
THENCE west with the south boundary line of said Block 217 9 feet
a stake in the south boundary line of sal~ Block for corner,
THENCE north parallel with the west boundary line of sald Block,
300 feet to the place of beginning
is hereby deslgnated as a historic landmark under Ordinance No
80-30, Article Z8A of the Comprehenslve Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
The historic landmark designation shall be lndlcated upon the
zoning map of the City of Denton by the letter "H", and the
property herein described shall be sub3ect to all the terms,
provisions and requ,rements of Ordinance No 80-30, Article 28A of
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the C~ty of Denton, Texas
SECTION III
Th~s ordinance shall become effective from and after its date
of passage
