ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I

of Denton, Texas, the C/ty Council will hold a public hearlng
glvlng all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on
the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of the
property described below

In the City Councll Chamber of the Munlclpal Bulld~ng of the City
of Denton, Texas, the City Council w~ll hold a public nearing
glvlng all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on
the proposed annexation by the C~ty of Denton, Texas of the

Ail that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
in the County of Denton, State of Texas, and being part of the
B B B & C R.R Co Survey, Abstract No 192, W Bryan Survey,
Abstract No 148, J Perry Survey, Abstract No 1040, A Coberly
Survey, Abstract No 1542 and the J Scott Survey, Abstract No
1222 and belng more particularly descrlbed as follows

north r/ght-of-way line of Jim Christal Road with the west
right-of-way llne of the G.C & S F Rallroad,

The Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby authorlzed
and directed to cause notice of such public hearlng to be
publlshed once an a newspaper having general circulatIon in the
C~ty and in the above descrlbed territory not more than forty days
nor less than twenty days prior to the date of such public
hearing, all ~n accordance w~th the Municipal Annexation Act
(Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes)
SECTION III
Thls ordinance shall be an full force and effect ~mmedlately
followlng ~ts passage and approval

The City of Denton, Texas, proposes to institute annexation
proceedxngs to alter the boundary l~m~ts of said C~ty to add the
