AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 5, CARROLL PARK
ADDITION, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classlflcatlon and Use designation of the follow-
lng described property, to-w~t
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lylng and
belng sltuated in the City and County of Denton, State
of Texas being Lots 1 and 2, Block 5, Carroll Park
Addlt~on, located at the northwest corner of Carroll
Boulevard and Congress Street, C~ty of Denton, Texas
is hereby changed from Two-Family "2-F" D~str~ct Classification
Use to Planned Development "PD" D~strlct Classification and Use
under the Comprehenslve Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton,
Texas
The Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under Ordlnance No
69-1, be, and the same ls hereby amended to show such change in
Dlstr~ct Class~f~catlon and Use
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby
finds that such change Is in accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs for the character of the dlstr~ct and for ~ts
peculiar sultab~llty or partlcular uses, and w~th a view to
conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most approprlate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the Clty of Denton, Texas, and lts citizens

That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
· mmedlately after Its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
