THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, H~REBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the follow-
~ng described property, to-w~t
Being part of that certain tract or parcel of land situated ~n
the G Walker Survey, Abstract No 1330, Denton County, Texas,
being part of that certain 82 62 acre f~rst tract and part of
that certain 42 S acre second tract ~n a deed from I h Edwards,
et ux to B I Bdwards on July Z5, 1945, recorded xn Volume 316,
Page 368, plus part of a 15 acre tract deeded by A R Durham, et
ux to W A Edwards on April 11, 1980, recorded ~n Volume 45,
Page 35, Deed Records of sa~d County, and being more tully
described as follows
COMMENCING at the fence corner of the southeast corner of sa~d
82 62 acre tract on the east line of the 219 acre Lot 6 oi John
R Henry Subdivision of said G Walker Survey at a point 1594 4
feet north of the southeast corner of sa~d Lot 6,

cation Use under the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Denton, Texas is hereby changed and a Spec~fzc Use Permit ~s
hereby granted for the use of saxd property for a munlczpal
sanitary landf~ll
The Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the 14th
day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Oralnances of
the City of Denton, Texas under Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the
same is hereby amended to show such change ~n D~strlct
Classification and Use
ShCTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change ~s ~n accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other
th~ngs for the character of the district and for xts peculiar
suitability or partxcular uses, and w~th a wew to conserving the
value of the buildings, protecting human lives, and encouraging
the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and its c~tezens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
~mmedlately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
after glwng due not~ce thereof
