AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CIIY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDI-
NANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND
AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO APPROXIMATELY 36 082 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF
THE G WALKER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1330, DENTON COUNTY, IBXAS,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE
THE LOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classlflcatxon and Use designation of the follow-
lng descrlbod property, to-wit
Bexng part of that certaxn tract or parcel o~ land situated
the G Walker Survey, Abstract No 1330, Denton County, Texas,
being part of that certain 82 62 acre first tract and part of
that certain 42 5 acre second tract in a deed from I E Edwards,
et ux to E I Edwards on July 25, 1945, recorded in Volume 316,
Page 368, plus part of a 15 acre tract deeded by A R Durham, et
ux to W A Edwards on April 11, 1980, recorded in Volume 45,
Page 58, Deed Records of sa~d County, and being more fully
described as follows
COMMBNCING at the fence corner of the southeast corner of sa~d
82 62 acre tract on the east line of the 219 acre Lot 6 of John
R Henry Subdlws~on of sa~d G Walker Survey at a point 1594 4

day of January, 1969, as an Appendzx to the Code of Ordinances of
the Cxty of Denton, Texas, under Ordxnance No 69-1, be, and the
same xs hereby amended to show such change xn Dxstrxct Classxfx-
catxon and Use
SECTION lI
That the Cxty Councxl oi the Cxty of Oenton, lexas, hereby
fxnds that such change xs in accordance wxth a comprehensxve plan
for the purpose of promotxng the general welfare of the Lxty of
Denton, Texas, and wxth reasonable consxderatxon, among other
thxngs for the character of the dxstrxct and for its peculiar
suxtabxllty or partxcular uses, and wxth a vxew to conservxng the
value of the bulldzngs, protectxng human lxves, and encouragxng
the most approprxate uses of land for the maxxmum benefxt to the
Cxty of Denton, Texas, and xts cxtxzens
SECTION III
That thxs ordxnance shall be xn full force and effect
xmmedlately after xts passage and approval, the requxred publxc
hearxngs havxng heretofore been held by the Plannxng and Zoning
Commxssxon and the Cxty Councxl of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
