ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO APPROXIMATELY 13 994 ACRhS OF LAND
OUT OF THE 0 S BRBWSTBR SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 56, DENTON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN hFFECTIVB DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the follow-
lng described property, to-wit
All that certain 14 440 acre tract or parcel of land s~tuated in
the 0 S Brewster Survey, Abstract No 56, Denton County,
Texas, said tract being part of a tract shown by Deed to R J
Abbey and recorded in Volume 236, page 421 of the Deed Records
of Denton County, Texas and being more particularly described as
follows
BEGINNING, for the Northwest corner of the tract being described
here~n, at an ~ron p~n sa~d corner being the occupied Northwest
corner of sa~d Abbey Tract, said point lying easterly 727 8 feet
from the northwest corner of sa~d Brewster Survey,
THENCE North 88°$9'13'' East with the Northllne of sa~d Abbey
tract 449 8? feet to an ~ron p~n set in ground, for the
Northwest corner of a tract shown by Deed to Eagle Plcher,
Ind, Inc and recorded in Volume 650 page 445 of the Deed
Records of Denton County, Texas
THENCE South l°17'24'' East 2890 29 feet to an ~ron p~n found ~n
the ground, for the Southwest corner of sa~d Eagle Plcher

THENCE North 85°42'36'' East 1468 62 feet to an ~ron p~n found ~n
the ground, for the Southeast corner of said Eagle P~cher
tract, and the Northeast corner on the West line of Interstate

The Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of
Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby amended to show such change ~n
D~str~ct Classification and Use
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~t~ of Denton, Texas, hereby
f~nds that such change ~s ~n accoroance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs for the character of the d~str~ct and ~or ~ts
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and w~th a wew to
conserwng the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maxmmum benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and ~ts c~t~zens
S~CTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
~mmed~ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearings hawng heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the C~ty Councxl of the C~ty of Denton, texas,
after g~wng due not~ce thereof ~
