AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING 703 BOLIVAR STREET IN THE CITY OF
DENTON, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER
ORDINANCE NO 80-30 (PARTICLE 28A OF THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE), AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Hxstorxc Landmark Commxssxon and the Plannxng
and Zoning Commxssxon of the City of Denton have recommended
that the property herexn descrxbed be desxgnated as a hxstorxc
landmark xn the Cxty of Denton, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE LITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The below descrxbed property shall be classxfxed as
hlstorxcal zonxng
All that certaxn lot, tract or parcel of land sxtuated
xn the Cxty and County of Denton, State of Texas, a
part of Robert Beaumont Survey, Abstract No 31, being
part of a tract conveyed by Darthula Matlock, et al,
to C E Mxller on July 3, 1943, shown of record
Volume 301, Page 227, Deed Records, Denton County,
Texas, more partxcularly descrxbed as follows
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of sa~d tract conveyed
to C E M~ller,
THENCE North 65 feet to its northeast corner,
THENCE West 145 feet, more or less, to the northeast
corner of a certain lot conveyed by C E M~ller and
w~fe to R A Boyd by deed dated October 9, 1946, and
shown of record ~n Volume 330, Page 574, of the Deed
Records of Denton County, Texas,
THENCE South along east l~ne of sa~d Boyd lot 65 feet,
~ts southeast corner ~n the south l~ne of sa~d lot
conveyed to C E M~ller,
THENCE East along the south l~ne of sa~d C E M~ller
lot, 145 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning

80-50, Article 28A of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the

SECTION II
The historic landmark designation shall be ~ndlcated upon
the zoning map of the C~ty of Denton by the letter "H", and the
property here~n described shall be subject to all of the terms,
prows~ons and requirements of Ordinance No 80-30, Article 28A
of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas
