The Zonxng Map of the Cxty of Denton, Texas, adopted the 14th
day of January, 1969, as an Appendxx to the Lode of Ordxnances of
the Cxty of Denton, Texas, under Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the
same ~s hereby amended to show such change in Dlstr~ct
Classification and Use

fhat the C~ty Council oi the L~ty oi Denton, lexas, hereby
f~nds that such change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general weliare of the C~ty of
Denton, lexas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among other
th~ngs for the character of the dlstr~ct and ior its peculiar
suitability or particular uses, and with a view to conserving the
value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and encouraging
the most appropriate uses oi land ior the maximum benefit to the
City oi Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
immediately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, fexas,
