HEADLEE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATED IN THE B B B &
C R R~ COMPANY SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 186, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 878, PAGE 561 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF
DENTON COUNTY TO THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FOR THE USE OF SAID
PROPERTY AS A PUBLIC STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby accepts the conveyance
and dedication by deed from E Dears Headlee of that certain
real property s~tuated ~n the B B B & C R R Company Survey,
Abstract No 561, Denton County, Texas, and recorded ~n Volume
878, Page 561 of the Deed Records of Denton County to the City
of Denton, Texas, for the use of said property as a public
street and for utilities, sa~d property being more particularly
descrlbed as follows
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
sltuated ~n the Clty and County of Denton, State of Texas, and
being part of the B B B & C R R Company Survey, Abstract No
186, and also being part of a tract of land as conveyed from
Four M Developers, Inc to E Deats Headles by deed dated March
9, 1978 and recorded ~n Volume 878, Page 561 of the Deed
Records of Denton County, Texas and more particularly described
as follows
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of sa~d Headlee Tract, said
point being the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3 of the
Headlee Additlon,
THENCE north 87°40' west along the south boundary llne of sa~d
Headlee Tract a d~stance of 100 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE north 2°18' east 100 feet west of and parallel to the
east boundary l~ne a d,stance of 167 5 feet to a point for a
corner,
THENCE south 87°40' east along the north boundary line of sa~d
tract, a d~stance of 100 feet to the northeast corner of said
Headlee Tract,
THENCE south 2°18' west along the east boundary l~ne of sa~d
Headlee tract a d~stance of 167 5 feet to the place of
beginning and containing 0 385 acres of land, more or less
SECTION II
The C~ty of Denton hereby accepts the conveyance and
dedication of the real property described in Section I hereof
for the purposes of a publlc street and for utilities

The Mayor of the City of Denton is hereby authorized to
sign the ~nstrument of street dedication executed by E Deats
Headlee, accepting such dedication and the conditions there*n
on behalf of the C~ty of Denton, Texas
SECTION IV
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the C~ty of Denton is
hereby authorized and d~rected to let the real property herein
dedicated be designated as a public street on the Official Map
of the C~ty of Denton, Texas
SECTION V
That thls ordinance shall become effective ~mmed~ately upon
its passage and approval

curbed and guttered street at its sole expense having a minimum '
width of six (6) lanes and this portion of the. street will not •

from Sherman Drive to this right-of-way dedication is widened.to _
