ORDINANCE CANVASSING ELECTION RETURNS
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DENTON
CITY OF DENTON
WHEREAS, the C~ty Councll of sald C~ty ordered an elect~on
to be held ~n sa~d C~ty on DECEMBER 11, 1982, on the PROPOSI-
TIONS hereinafter stated, and
WHEREAS, sa~d C~ty Council has ~nvest~gated all matters
pertaining to sa~d e!ect~on, ~nclud~ng the ordering, g~v~ng
not~ce, officers, holding, and making returns of sa~d elect~on,
and
WHEREAS, the elect~on officers who held sa~d elect~on have
duly made the returns of the result thereof, and sa~d returns
have been duly de!~vered to th~s C~ty Council
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
1 That the C~ty Councll officially f~nds and determines
that sa~d elect~on was duly ordered, that proper not~ce of sa~d
electzon was duly g~ven, that proper elect~on officers were
duly appointed prior to sa~d elect~on, that sa~d elect~on was
duly held, that due returns of the result of sa~d elect~on have
been made and delivered, and that the C~ty Council has duly
canvassed sa~d returns, all ~n accordance w~th law and the
Ordinance calling sa~d elect~on
2 That the C~ty Council officially f~nds and determines
that the following votes were cast at sa~d e!ect~on on each
submitted PROPOSITION, by the resident, qualified electors of
sa~d C~ty who voted at the elect~on

THE STATE OF TEXAS

CITY OF DENTON
W/4EREAS, the City Council of said City ordered an election
to be held in said City on DECEMBER 11, 1982, on the PROPOSI-
TIONS hereinafter stated, and
W~EREAS, said City Council has lnvest!qated all matters
pertaining to said elect~on, ~ncludlng the ordering, giving
notice, officers, holding, and making returns of said election,
and
WBEREAS, the election officers who held said election have
duly made the returns of the result thereof, and said returns
have been duly delivered to this City Council
