ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH
PUBLIC HEARING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I

lng of the City of Denton, Texas, the City Council will hold a
public hearing giving all interested per~ons the right to appear
and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton,
Texas of the following described property, to-wit
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Denton, State of Texas, and being part
of the T Martin Survey, Abstract No 900 and the B B B &
C R R Company Survey, Abstract No 196 and being more
particularly described as follows
BEGINNING at a point in the present c~ty limits, sa~d point
lying in the west right of way line of F M 1830, said point
also being the northeast corner of the land as described in
Annexation Ordinance No 81-79,
THENCE south 89o13' west along the present city limits a
distance of 1079 6 feet to a point for a corner, same being the
intersection of the land as described in Annexation Ordinance
No 60-40 with the land as described in Annexation Ordinance No
81-79
THENCE northeasterly along the present city limits, an approxi-
mate distance of 1989 23 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE east along the present city limits an approximate distance
of 2404 22 feet to a point for a corner, same belnq the north-
west corner of the land as described in Annexation Ordinance No
74-6,
THENCE south 0o07'40" west along the present city l~mlts a
distance of 1231 feet to a point same being the southwest corner
of the land as described in Annexation Ordinance No 74-6 and
the northwest corner of the land as degcr~bed in Annexation
Ordinance No 79-61,
THENCE south 0007'43" west along the present city limits an
approximate distance of 350 feet to a point for a corner, same
being the northeast corner of the land as described ~n
Annexation Ordinance No 80-12,
THENCE south 89o34'46" west along the present city limits a
distance of 2616 76 feet to a point for a corner, said point
lying in the east right of way line of F M 1830,
THENCE south lO19' east along the present city l~m~ts and the
east right of way line of F M 1830, a d~stance of 40 91 feet,
THENCE south 89o46'35'' west a d~stance of 40 feet to a point
for a corner, said point lying in the centerllne of F M 1830,
THENCE south 0o54'40" east along the centerllne of F M 1830
an approxlate distance of 355 feet to a point for a corner, same

being the easterly northeast corner of the land as described in
Annexation Ordinance No 81-79,
THENCE north 89o53' west along the present city limits a
distance of 40 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE north 0o54'40" west along the present city limits a
distance of 576 42 feet to the place of beginning and containing
111 72 acres of land, more or less
SECTION II
The Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby authorized
and directed to cause not~ce of such public hearing to be
published once ina newspaper having general circulation ~n the
C~ty and ~n the above described territory not more than forty
days nor less than twenty days prior to the date of such public
hearing, all ~n accordance w~th the MunIcipal Annexation Act
(Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Clvll Statutes)
SECTION III
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect Immediately
following its passage and approval
